Ready to shape the future of warehouse management? Synovia Digital is seeking a seasoned SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant to join our team in a remote role. (This position is open to experienced professionals based in India or the Philippines .) Key Responsibilities Configure & Optimize SAP EWM: Design and customize SAP EWM (especially embedded EWM in S/4HANA) to meet client needs – including defining storage types & sections and implementing efficient putaway (inbound) and picking (outbound) strategies. Advanced Warehouse Operations: Implement and manage key EWM functionalities such as RF (Radio Frequency) mobile data entry, yard management, handling units (HUs), wave management, and physical inventory processes to ensure smooth warehouse operations. Value-Added Services & Kitting: Leverage EWM’s Value-Added Services (VAS) and kitting capabilities, and ensure robust batch and serial number management for inventory accuracy and traceability. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP EWM with other systems. (Experience with integrating EWM via Microsoft Dynamics 365 or SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) is a plus.) End-to-End Project Involvement: Lead or support full project lifecycles – from requirements gathering and solution design through configuration, testing, and user training – culminating in go-live and post-go-live support to guarantee a successful implementation. Remote Teamwork: Collaborate effectively in a remote environment, using strong communication and project management skills to engage with team members and stakeholders across multiple locations. Qualifications & Skills Experience: Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience with SAP EWM, including expertise in embedded EWM on S/4HANA and a solid grasp of warehouse management processes. EWM Proficiency: Proven track record configuring EWM elements like storage types, storage sections, and setting up optimal putaway and picking strategies. Technical Know-how: Strong experience with EWM execution processes – including RF device enablement, yard management, handling unit management, wave planning, and conducting physical inventory. Advanced Features: Exposure to advanced SAP EWM features such as Value-Added Services (VAS) and kitting , along with sound knowledge of batch management and serial number tracking. Integration Skills: Familiarity with integrating SAP EWM with other enterprise systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration or SAP CPI is highly advantageous. Project Leadership: Demonstrated ability to drive end-to-end EWM implementations and provide effective post-go-live support and troubleshooting. Communication & Remote Work: Excellent communication skills and a proactive, self-driven approach to work. Ability to thrive in a remote team environment , collaborating with diverse teams and adapting to various cultures. Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, information systems, or related field (preferred). Language Proficiency : Fluent in English, with strong reading, writing, and speaking skills required.
