Entertainment Writer – Hollywood Movies, TV & Streaming (Remote) FandomWire is a leading entertainment news publisher covering Hollywood, streaming, comic books, anime, gaming, and pop culture. We reach millions of readers globally and are expanding our team of passionate writers to deliver the best in entertainment journalism. We are looking to hire experienced Entertainment Writers who have a strong background in covering Hollywood movies, TV shows, and OTT/streaming content for the U.S. audience . This is a remote, freelance position. What you will cover: Breaking entertainment news Streaming premieres (Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV+, Paramount+, Prime Video, FX, etc.) Hollywood features, listicles, and opinion pieces Comic book content (if applicable—a plus!) Evergreen stories around movies, TV, and fandoms What we are looking for: ✅ Proven Experience: Prior work with entertainment publications (news, features, evergreen content) Experience covering Hollywood and OTT content for U.S. platforms Strong familiarity with global box office, Hollywood trends, and streaming releases ✅ Editorial Skills: Ability to write clean, engaging, and well-researched stories Comfortable working under deadlines and following content calendars Strong command over entertainment trends, fan culture, and industry news ✅ Technical Requirements: Hands-on experience writing on WordPress block editor Understanding of SEO basics (preferred but not mandatory) ✅ Bonus Points For: A passion for comic books, superhero media, and franchise storytelling Experience creating click-worthy headlines while maintaining editorial integrity Position Details: Full-time/Remote
