The Role: We are looking for a Trainee performance planner to join Inspire Institute of Sport, with a passion and expertise in Sports Science and Performance Planning. You will be responsible for working closely with Head Coaches and the Sports Science Department to develop, implement, and manage strategies to improve individualized and team-based training plans. Responsibilities and Duties Develop training programs by creating individualized and team-based training plans tailored to specific sports and athlete needs. Supporting the planning and execution of athlete training and performance strategies. Contributing to the development of individual and team training programs to enhance performance. Evaluate and assess sports training programs and events to ensure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Assisting with the integration of data collection, analysis, and report generation. Working closely with coaches, athletes, sports scientists, and medical professionals to ensure a holistic approach to athlete support and development. Assist with the managing of training facilities, equipment, and other resources to support athlete development. Regularly visit and evaluate the training sites to assess the appropriateness of training. Support the High Performance Director, Head Coaches and other members of the performance teams in specific performance projects. Other: Strong understanding of sports science principles and coaching methodologies, with knowledge in Sports Physiology, Sports Nutrition, and/or Strength & Conditioning essential. Strong organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential. Ability to effectively communicate with athletes, coaches, and other professionals. Ability to identify and address performance challenges and make informed decisions. Strong administration skills, methodical working and the ability to multi-task a high volume of work. The Person Master’s degree in Sports & Exercise Science (Sports Physiology, Sports Nutrition, or Strength and Conditioning).
