Job Summary: Seematti is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Training Manager to lead the training and development initiatives across its retail outlets. This individual will be responsible for designing, delivering, and managing effective sales training programs for floor managers, store managers, and front-line sales staff. The role involves regular travel to Seematti’s different branches to ensure consistent execution and reinforcement of customer service standards and sales excellence. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive training programs tailored for retail floor managers, store managers, and sales staff. Create a standardized sales communication process to guide staff on how to greet, interact with, and close sales with customers. Build and implement a customer handling SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) including objection handling, product presentation, upselling, and closing techniques. Conduct in-person training sessions across multiple Seematti branches on a rotational basis. Design training manuals, handbooks, and checklists to ensure easy reference and long-term reinforcement. Establish a sales staff performance tracking system to evaluate the effectiveness of training interventions. Provide regular feedback and coaching to sales staff and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with HR and Operations teams to align training modules with Seematti's values and goals. Introduce evaluation metrics such as mock customer visits, performance dashboards, and feedback loops. Stay up to date with retail industry trends and incorporate best practices into training programs. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in training sales staff within the retail merchandise/fashion/apparel sector. Proven track record in developing and delivering impactful training modules. Strong understanding of sales psychology, customer service protocols, and retail floor management. Willingness to travel frequently across various Seematti locations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Fluency in English and Malayalam is a must. Preferred Qualities: Strong leadership and mentoring abilities. Hands-on experience in setting up new store teams or relaunch training. Creative and strategic mindset to continuously innovate training content.
