Senior Consultant– Executive Search Location: Mumbai Experience Required: 15+ years Industry Exposure: Cross-industry CXO hiring; prior exposure to the automotive industry preferred Function: Executive Search / Leadership Hiring Reports To: Director / Business Head – Leadership Hiring Key Responsibilities: 1. Leadership Hiring & Delivery (CXO Level): Drive end-to-end execution of retained and contingent executive search mandates for leadership and CXO roles (CEO, CFO, CHRO, CTO, etc.). Engage with senior stakeholders (Board, Promoters, Investors, Founders) across industries, especially automotive, manufacturing, and emerging tech. Lead candidate assessment, client briefings, shortlist presentations, and offer negotiations with strategic clarity and consultative rigor. 2. Business Development: Own and grow a personal book of business; actively develop client relationships through consultative selling and strategic engagement. Build long-term partnerships with key accounts, understanding their leadership talent needs and advising on talent strategy. Respond to RFPs, build proposals, and pitch for leadership search assignments. 3. Team Management & Development: Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing team of consultants, researchers, and associates. Set delivery targets, manage performance KPIs, and foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and growth. Share best practices and help elevate overall delivery capability and domain expertise within the team. Ideal Candidate Profile: Experience: 15+ years in executive search or leadership hiring, with a strong track record of closing CXO-level positions. Industry Exposure: Prior or current engagement with automotive /manufacturing clients is highly desirable. Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business functions and industry trends; credible in front of senior stakeholders. Leadership: Proven team management capabilities; ability to inspire, mentor, and lead by example. Network: Deep and relevant network of senior professionals across industries. Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate in HR, Business Administration, or equivalent from a reputed institution. Certifications in leadership assessment tools will be a plus.
