Role Overview: The Dispatch & Asset Movement Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating the dispatch of reefer containers across locations. The role ensures real-time tracking, strict compliance, and timely reporting. It acts as a critical link between operations, transporters, and clients to execute flawless asset movement and delivery. Key Responsibilities: 1. Dispatch Planning & Coordination Schedule and manage dispatches to prevent delays and idle time. Optimize routes and coordinate with vehicle vendors as per operational needs. 2. Live Tracking & Real-Time Updates Maintain a live dispatch board and provide real-time tracking updates. Ensure all stakeholders have visibility into container movement. 3. Compliance & Documentation Verify driver and vehicle compliance before every dispatch. Maintain dispatch logs and ensure timely collection and reporting of POD/LR. 4. Coordination & Issue Resolution Share movement updates and tracking links with relevant parties. Coordinate between internal teams, clients, and transporters for smooth execution. 5. Reporting & SOP Adherence Track dispatch KPIs and generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Ensure adherence to operational SOPs and reporting formats. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): 100% real-time tracking of all dispatches Zero delay in scheduled movements Full compliance on documentation and vehicle checks Timely POD/LR submission Optimized route planning and resource usage Required Skills & Competencies: Strong coordination and dispatch planning Knowledge of transportation logistics and compliance Proficiency in tracking tools, Excel, and dashboard reporting Excellent communication and follow-up discipline High ownership and ability to manage pressure
