The World Health Organization estimates that 13% of people globally live with a diagnosable mental disorder, and at some point in their lives 25-30% experience mental health issues as well as 40-50% of adults will struggle with stress, burnout, grief, or trauma. THE OPPORTUNITY We’re looking for a Co-founder & CTO who sees both the business and human potential in solving one of the greatest challenges of our time, with a team that has executed at the cutting edge of AI and blockchain technology. You must be able to work across disciplines and in a demanding environment with many opinionated and highly accomplished individuals with credentials that include successful serial founders, Doctor of Medicine, PhD in Science, MBAs from Harvard and Oxford, and top tier consulting firms (e.g. McKinsey, CapGemini). The CTO will serve as the technical visionary and execution powerhouse, building the technical and core AI infrastructure, overseeing voice integration, scaling systems, and ultimately leading a world-class technical team.  WHAT YOU'LL BUILD Revolutionary AI Architecture : Refine the design of, and implement, market leading B2C and B2B platforms, as well as the world's most sophisticated agentic AI system for mental health  Global-Scale Platform : Build infrastructure that can serve millions of users worldwide with real-time voice processing and personalized therapeutic interventions Cutting-Edge Voice Technology : Develop advanced voice-to-voice AI systems that feel genuinely human and therapeutically effective Secure & Compliant Systems : Architect HIPAA-compliant, privacy-first solutions that users can trust with their most sensitive information Data Intelligence Platform : Create sophisticated analytics and learning systems that continuously improve therapeutic outcomes YOU ARE AN EXCEPTIONAL TECHNOLOGIST A Visionary Leader (An absolute must) Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in startup environments Loves building from 0 to 1 Strategic thinking ability to balance technical excellence with business impact Dynamic personality that can inspire and motivate technical teams Exceptional communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts Rapid iteration in early-stage development Passion for using technology to solve meaningful human problems Profile (Required) Engineering or Computer Science degree from a top-tier university 10+ years of deep experience building and scaling B2C consumer applications to millions of users, as well as experience in architecting and building enterprise solutions  Ready to take significant equity in exchange for building something world-changing A builder and a leader. Full-Stack Development (Required) Backend: Python/Node.js, microservices, REST/GraphQL APIs, real-time systems (WebSocket, Redis) Frontend: React/React Native, TypeScript, modern JavaScript frameworks Mobile: Native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin/Java) development Database: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, vector databases for AI embeddings Cloud & Infrastructure (Required) AWS/GCP/Azure with DevOps experience, Docker/Kubernetes container orchestration Scalable architecture design, auto-scaling, load balancing, distributed systems Security implementation, encryption, authentication, monitoring and observability Core AI/ML (Required) 5+ years experience with LLMs (GPT, Claude, Llama), transformer architectures, and production AI deployment Hands-on experience with AI model fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and RAG systems Real-time AI inference optimization and agentic AI system development Voice Technology (Preferred) Experience in speech-to-text/text-to-speech technologies and real-time audio processing Experience with WebRTC, voice biometrics, emotion recognition, and conversational AI systems Voice user interface (VUI) design and low-latency voice communication Healthcare & Compliance (Preferred) HIPAA compliance implementation and healthcare data security protocols Understanding of healthcare regulations, secure data handling, and audit trails Blockchain Experience (Preferred) Smart contract development (Solidity), major blockchain platforms (Ethereum, Polygon, Solana) Web3 integration and decentralized identity solutions WHY THIS ROLE IS EXTRAORDINARY This is an opportunity to architect the technological foundation of a company that could fundamentally change how humanity approaches mental health, supported by a tier 1 team, advisors, and collaborators who have experience in developing cutting-edge solutions.
