Role Summary We are looking for a skilled professional with strong hands-on experience in PLC and drives programming and a good understanding of wind turbine control systems and load behavior. The role involves working on all major turbine controllers — pitch, yaw, torque, braking, and generator — and ensuring they operate reliably under varying wind and grid conditions. Key Responsibilities: Develop, troubleshoot - Pitch control (individual & collective) - Yaw control - Generator torque control - Braking systems convertor and invertor Analyze SCADA data and load reports to ensure the turbine operates within safe mechanical and electrical limits. Collaborate with O&M field engineers, and SCADA teams for controller improvements and fault investigations. Must-Have Skills: 8 to 10 years of experience in wind turbine controls or automation. Strong knowledge of convertor and Invertor Good understanding of wind turbine dynamics and load behavior (IEC 61400-1 knowledge is a plus). Experience handling SCADA alarms, turbine faults, and performance anomalies. Bonus Skills (Good to Have): Familiar with simulation tools like Bladed, FAST, or MATLAB. Basic scripting (Python, MATLAB) for data processing and automation. Clear communicator with field O&M and cross functional teams. Strong troubleshooting attitude with real-time problem-solving ability. Willingness to travel to wind farms when needed
