Job Description

Role Overview We are looking for a strategic and execution-focused leader to head our logistics and last-mile delivery operations, while also driving cross-functional supply chain strategy and innovation. This role demands a blend of logistics, customer-first thinking, and the ability to drive strategic transformation in a high-growth e-pharma environment. Seeking individuals with structured problem-solving and analytical backgrounds from Consulting firms (BCG, McKinsey, Bain& Co,) etc. Key Responsibilities End-to-End Logistics & Last-Mile Execution Lead end-to-end logistics operations including warehousing, transportation, and last-mile delivery. Scale up fulfillment infrastructure across zones with the right mix of owned vs. partner-led logistics. Own delivery SLAs for both B2C and B2B segments, including 4-hour, same-day, and next-day deliveries. Optimize first-mile pickup, mid-mile transit, and last-mile drop to ensure cost-efficient operations. Analytics & Performance Management Establish and track KPIs: TAT, fulfillment accuracy, RTO %, delivery success rate, cost per shipment, rider productivity, etc. Lead root cause analysis and implement data-backed interventions for operational challenges. Drive visibility across the chain with dashboards and predictive alerts using BI tools. Vendor & Partner Management Build a strong logistics partner ecosystem – courier aggregators, last-mile networks, cold chain carriers. Drive commercial negotiations, performance SLAs, and risk mitigation strategies. Team & Stakeholder Leadership Lead a high-performing team across logistics operations, supply chain planning, network planning, etc. Collaborate closely with senior leadership, commercial, finance, tech, and customer support teams. Strategic Ownership Define and lead the logistics & fulfillment strategy aligned with the company’s growth, cost, and service objectives. Evaluate and drive new distribution models – hub-and-spoke, dark stores, micro-fulfillment, hyperlocal, etc. Lead business transformation projects to reduce cost per order, improve delivery TAT, and scale operations for new markets and categories.
