Experience Level: 3-5 Years Note: This is a full-time office-based role in Hyderabad. Candidates must either be based in Hyderabad or be willing to relocate. We partner with leading financial institutions to optimize their trading and risk management platforms, and we are seeking a dedicated Murex Support Analyst to join our dynamic Global Production Services team. Position Summary We are looking for an experienced Murex EOD Batch Support Analyst to ensure the stability and successful completion of daily Murex end-of-day batch processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the proactive monitoring and initial troubleshooting of the EOD workflow, which is critical to our clients' global trading operations. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Key Responsibilities Batch Monitoring: Proactively monitor the Murex (MX.3) end-of-day (EOD) batch processing stream using enterprise scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, Autosys) and Murex's native monitoring tools. Incident Management: Act as the first point of contact for any issues, delays, or failures within the EOD batch. Perform initial diagnostics to identify the root cause of problems. Diagnostics and Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve common EOD issues related to data feeders, extractions, system resources, and job dependencies. This includes analyzing logs and checking the status of Murex services. Escalation Management: Escalate complex or unresolved issues to Level 3 support, development teams, or business stakeholders in a timely manner according to documented procedures. Communication: Provide clear and concise status updates on the EOD progress to stakeholders across different regions. Document all incidents and their resolutions in our ticketing system. Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of EOD processes by identifying recurring issues and suggesting potential solutions or optimizations. Required Skills and Experience Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Murex production support, with a strong focus on End-of-Day (EOD) batch operations. Murex Knowledge: Basic understanding of the Murex reporting infrastructure, feeders , and extractions . Understanding the basics of Murex end-of-day close-downs and date rolls . Basic understanding of the Murex reporting infrastructure, feeders , and extractions . Basic understanding of static data setup, such as bonds, equities, and futures. Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of SQL for querying databases to investigate data-related issues. Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and basic shell commands for log analysis and script execution. Shift Work: This position is for shift-based work. The candidate must be able to work in shifts to provide coverage for global EOD schedules. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform under pressure. Desired Qualifications Experience with enterprise job scheduling tools like Control-M or Autosys. Knowledge of the ITIL framework (Incident, Problem, Change Management). Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Shell, Perl, Python) is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Education Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
