Job Description

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to lead and manage all costing functions across the organization. The role involves driving cost accuracy, optimization initiatives, system improvements, and providing strategic insights to support business decisions. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of cost accountants and finance professionals; ensure development, performance management, and capability building within the team. Define the strategic roadmap for cost optimization across the organization, aligned with overall business goals. Serve as a key finance business partner to plant heads, supply chain leaders, and senior management, providing financial insight and guidance on cost-related matters. Review and approve costing methodologies, assumptions, and updates for product costing, pricing strategies, and investment decisions. Oversee the implementation of costing controls, internal checks, and system automation to strengthen governance. Represent the costing function in senior leadership meetings and cross-functional forums. Participate in CAPEX evaluations, margin analysis, and product profitability reviews. Drive change management initiatives, especially around SAP upgrades, system automation, and reporting enhancements. Support budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate cost inputs and financial modeling. Enhance existing cost accounting systems and reporting tools to improve transparency and efficiency. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies related to costing and inventory valuation. Educational Qualification: Graduate in Finance, Accounting, or related field. ICWA / CA is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 10–15 years of relevant experience in costing and financial planning within the manufacturing industry. Proven track record in implementing and managing cost control systems in a production environment. Competencies: Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, variance analysis, and manufacturing finance practices. Proficiency in SAP S/4 HANA, Power BI, and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for financial modeling and forecasting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across departments. Skills: Proficiency in local languages and English, both written and spoken, to facilitate effective communication with employees and stakeholders. Team player with the ability to collaborate across functions.
