Job Title: Business Head – Online Department: Business Development / E-Commerce Location: Headquarter (Mumbai) Reports To: CEO / Managing Director Experience: 7–15 years (with at least 3–5 years in a leadership e-commerce role) Industry: FMCG / Food & Beverages / Confectionery Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Head – Online to lead and grow the online/e-commerce division for the confectionery brand. The ideal candidate will do Business Development and drive Digital Sales across all platforms, Listings, develop and execute online strategies, manage key partnerships, and ensure brand consistency and customer satisfaction in the digital space. Key Responsibilities: E-Commerce Strategy & Growth • Own and drive the overall P&L for online channels (D2C website, marketplaces, quick commerce, and other online retail platforms). • Develop and execute strategies to increase online sales, customer acquisition, retention, and conversion rates. • Optimize pricing, product assortment, and promotional strategies to enhance revenue. Digital Marketing & Branding • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute performance marketing campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, influencer marketing, etc.). • Build a strong brand presence across all digital touchpoints. • Monitor analytics and customer behavior to refine strategies. Platform & Technology Management • Oversee the functionality and performance of the D2C website (UI/UX, SEO, speed, security, etc.). • Coordinate with tech teams to ensure smooth backend operations (order processing, payments, logistics integrations). Marketplace Management • Manage partnerships and negotiations with marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Instamart, Zepto, etc. • Oversee listing quality, campaign execution, ratings, reviews, and inventory planning. Operations & Supply Chain Coordination • Work closely with the supply chain and logistics team to ensure timely order fulfillment. • Manage inventory, warehousing, and packaging standards for online deliveries. Team Leadership • Build and manage a high-performing e-commerce team. • Set KPIs, monitor performance, and provide leadership, mentorship, and training. Key Requirements: • Proven experience in leading Business Development, E-commerce/Digital business in an FMCG, F&B, or D2C brand. • Strong understanding of online retail dynamics, digital marketing, analytics, and customer journeys. • Ability to build strong relationships with marketplace partners. • Analytical mindset with a focus on ROI and performance metrics. • Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills. Preferred Qualifications: • MBA or equivalent in Marketing, Business Management, or Digital Commerce. • Experience in scaling a D2C business or launching new digital brands. • Passion for food, chocolate, and confectionery is a plus.
