Cocoma Digital is a fast-growing YouTube growth-hacking company based out of Mumbai, collaborating with leading streaming platforms, entertainment, music labels, beauty & fashion brands. We’re looking for a Motion Graphics Designer who has a sharp understanding of western motion-design trends in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle content for social, digital & TV shows.  Role Overview You’ll lead all things in motion from creating eye-catching visuals to their animation. You’ll work closely with creative designers, strategists and video editors to make every frame count ensuring every motion element adds impact, style, and clarity to content being produced at Cocoma Studios. Key Responsibilities Create motion graphics for YouTube videos, shorts, reels, and branded social content. Collaborate closely with editors and strategists to enhance viewer retention through animation, supers, kinetic typography, and transitions. Optimize graphic pacing, animation style, and typographic rhythm based on trending styles. Guide concept visualization, animation storytelling, and moodboarding for projects. Stay up to date with YouTube visual trends, animation formats, and social media platform innovations. What Your Typical Day Looks Like Start your day by reviewing the previous day’s animations and content performance, noting what visuals engaged and what fell flat. Explore visual trends across YouTube, Instagram, and other platforms especially in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and entertainment. Brainstorm and storyboard new motion concepts based on briefs or content goals. Collaborate with editors, designers, and strategists to integrate motion graphics seamlessly into ongoing projects. Gather assets, style references, and design elements to kickstart daily animation tasks.- Animate supers, intros, transitions, or branded elements that elevate visual storytelling. Review feedback, make revisions, and share final versions on time. You Are A Good Fit If Proficiency in After Effects is a must, especially with expressions and creating custom animation presets. Proficiency in English Language - reading, writing, speaking Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (for prepping animation assets). Understanding motion principles, pacing, transitions, and on-brand visual communication. Creating kinetic typography, lower-thirds, animated infographics, and screen UI animations. Managing timelines, version control, and structured feedback as per team’s opinions. Adapting to flexible working hours when collaborating across time zones or meeting delivery deadlines. Education & Experience Degree in animation, design, or related field — or equivalent experience. Portfolio/demo reel showcasing strong motion design work is a must.
