Role Description NorthStar Academy is seeking a dynamic YouTube Manager to join our growing team. This full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru involves managing and growing our YouTube presence, driving marketing efforts, optimizing video content for Google and YouTube ranking, and managing a team of video editors, scriptwriters, and other content creators. The YouTube Manager will play a critical role in promoting NSA's educational programs, from content creation to end-to-end team management, ensuring videos are optimized for both YouTube and Google search results. This role will also manage multiple YouTube channels to ensure consistent growth and engagement. The goal is to grow the channel from 100k to 500k subscribers by implementing effective strategies and fostering organic growth. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement YouTube marketing strategies to promote NorthStar Academy's programs and drive organic growth. SEO Optimization : Optimize video titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails for higher visibility and ranking on YouTube and Google search results. Video Content Creation : Oversee the creation and publishing of engaging video content that resonates with our target audience, ensuring that content is informative, high-quality, and aligned with the Academy’s brand values. Team Management : Lead and manage a creative team, including video editors and scriptwriters, ensuring seamless collaboration to deliver high-quality content consistently. Channel Growth : Develop and execute strategies for growing NorthStar Academy’s YouTube channel, aiming to increase subscribers from 100k to 500k, boosting overall engagement and viewership. Performance Analysis : Track and analyze YouTube metrics such as views, engagement, and retention rates to refine strategies and drive continued growth. Content Strategy : Plan and implement content calendars, working with the content team to ensure timely video releases and engaging topics. Collaborate with Internal Teams : Work closely with marketing, admissions, and academic teams to align content with the Academy’s goals, messaging, and educational offerings. Multiple Channel Management : Oversee the growth and performance of several YouTube channels, ensuring each channel’s strategy is optimized for maximum results. Staying Up-to-Date with YouTube Trends : Monitor algorithm updates, emerging trends, and best practices in YouTube marketing, ensuring content strategies remain ahead of the curve. Qualifications Proven experience in YouTube marketing and video content creation , with a history of driving channel growth. Expertise in YouTube SEO : Experience optimizing videos to rank in Google and YouTube search results, increasing visibility and engagement. Team Leadership : Strong experience managing and leading a creative team, including video editors and scriptwriters. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling video scripts and descriptions. Strong analytical skills to track, measure, and optimize video performance metrics. Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
