What Will Make You Successful Here Core Technical Prowess: You have 6+ years of hands-on experience building scalable applications, ideally in Python, JavaScript, Java, or similar. You're no stranger to search technologies like Elasticsearch, Apache Solr, or OpenSearch . Orchestrating data pipelines with Apache Kafka, Kinesis, or AWS Lambda is second nature to you, and you're comfortable with distributed computing frameworks like Apache Spark, Apache Flink, or Ray . Advanced Capabilities: A background in AI/ML, Natural Language Processing, or Ranking Systems is a huge plus. You possess strong computer science fundamentals, covering algorithms, networking, and operating systems. You have a proven track record of building customer-facing search solutions that perform at scale, and you live by SOLID principles, writing code that's both maintainable and testable. Leadership & Communication: You're an excellent communicator, capable of clearly explaining complex technical concepts to anyone, regardless of their technical background. You have a bias for action, coupled with a strong product mindset and genuine empathy for users. You're adept at driving operational excellence and proactively managing technical risks.
