As part of TDS’ growth strategy, we are investing even further in our channel partnerships within India by creating a new Channel Manager position, allowing us to expand our partner community across multiple partner types and in turn generate new and incremental opportunities and commercials wins. The successful candidate will be looking for the opportunity take their sales career to the next level and directly impact the company’s performance; they must demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit combined with a willingness to own all facets of their role. Experience of partner driven sales involving complimentary technologies, such as backup, data storage or cloud/MSP providers within smaller or start-up businesses would be an advantage as you will be expected to coordinate all interactions with the partner base and their opportunities throughout their lifecycle and co-ordinate across the whole TDS organisation. Utilizing TDS’s unique value propositions the channel manager duties include but are not limited to… - Business development of prospect partnership targets, including vendors, resellers, MSP’s, CSP’s and System Integrators… acquiring and signing up these new partners. - Create mutually agreed business/action plans for partners that are designed to produce new opportunities. - Own and support the commercial engagement around all data management opportunities. - Work closely with the Partner Support Group to co-ordinate the technical and contractual engagement. - The Channel Manager will also be responsible for loading and managing the account’s, contacts, and opportunity updates within Salesforce. - Producing a pipeline and forecast of those opportunities and reporting them back to their line manager. - Form a close working relationship with the Project Management team to ensure the smooth onboarding of new contracts. - Provide business intelligence and market trends to the programme management team to help shape the evolution of our services. - The Channel manager will be responsible for achieving the revenue and opportunity count targets associated with their territory / account base. These will be set quarterly.
