Job Description Location - Madhya Pradesh Level - Assistant General Manager / Deputy General Manager Experience - 15-20 Yrs in Cement industry at Plant level Qualification - Bachelor in Civil Engineering Note: Candidates with stronger backgrounds in both civil design and maintenance, preferably with experience in critical cement plant structures and engineering tools/software. Job Description Plan, organize and control civil construction by internal and external agencies to construct reliable, stable, aesthetic construction within defined budget. Plan, execute and control civil construction for Opex, Capex, CSR, Expansion Project for respective plant location ensuring adherence to timelines, quality, cost, aesthetic ,environment and safety aspects. Monitor civil construction. Review drawings and follow ups with designers for detailing, correction, suggestion and timely release of drawings. Administrative control and meeting with department staff ,contractors to execute construction activities. Passing contractor services bills of civil construction activities . Passing contractor bills of PF, Labour supply, Wages of different departments working. Monitoring of Capex & Opex budget on regular basis Passing PR, MIS, Gate pass, for civil construction activities . Plan, organize and control Predictive and Corrective maintenance by internal and external agencies to improve structure reliability and inner health conditions of plant civil structures within defined budget. Be agile & active in Predictive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance & in Organizing Inventory control activities for all three Plants in the respective job location. Ensure adherence to safety norms by all personnel in the department so as to achieve the zero accident goal. Conduct regular meetings with staff for reinstating the safety standards such as Cardinal Rules of Safety Coordinate with the Safety department for conducting meetings, trainings, workshops and discussions on safety for the staff & contractor employees. Ensure contractors comply with organizational procedures Ensure contractors report all hazards / accidents and unsafe acts in timely manner Conduct regular and planned OH&S inspection in the area of responsibility and take corrective action. Use detailed check – list to verify compliance to defined systems and procedures. Ensure housekeeping in plant. Lead the department team through guiding, coaching in order to develop them to manage their work effectively Deliver departmental training to in hence multi skilling and motivation of team member. Discuss new development Motivate team to ensure co-ordination and co-operation between them & other departments. Identify training needs and send to HR department, help to improve work efficiency.. Ensure that learning from training are implemented on shop floor and respected area on day day working. Maintain greenery ,develop green belt in Plant, Colony & Town ship to in hence healthy atmosphere and to comply PCB norms Maintain greenery in Plant, Colony & Town ship to in hence healthy atmosphere. Developed new area for Green belt development and plantation In plant & colony to comply PCB norms. Other key quantitative measures that reflects volume, scale of service or activities relating to your work (For e.g. number of branches, quantity of production etc.) Contractor bill , Wages/Labour supply/PF, Services bills Opex, & Capex, CSR etc Monitoring maintenance of civil structures of Plant Line I, II & III, OLBC, Mines and Ropeway. Monitoring civil construction of more than 10 Nos of Capex project every year . Ensure to provide timely support to plant operation and shutdown.. Monitoring maintenance of Administrative building, workshop, offices, MCC, sub stations Monitoring maintenance of colony quarters Monitoring maintenance of town ship – Director's residence, Guest houses, Bachelor Hostel, School, Hospital, Club, shopping complex ,Temples, Watchmen colony, Security barracks ,Bank, Post office etc., Monitoring maintenance of Roads of Plant & colony. Material transportation (24Km), Clinker Ropeway(15Km) Monitoring maintenance of Rain & Roof water harvesting, STP & distribution Maintaining timely operation of control gates on River check dam. Monitoring maintenance of Boundary wall of approx. 5.40 Km .and security fence . Essentials skills and capabilities required to execute this role Safety rules & regulations SAP working Computer literacy/Networking skills Technical knowledge of CAD drawing, estimating, Code, RCC frame construction and load distribution. Result driven (maintenance efficiency, cost) Good interpersonal skills. Communication skills, Ability to priorities actions & take decision.
