Job Title:  Admissions OfficerLocation:  Global Student Centre – Viman Nagar, Pune Job Type:  Full-Time (On-site) Reporting To:  Regional Admissions ManagerAbout the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Admissions Officer  to join our growing team at the Global Student Centre  in Pune. This is a full-time, on-site position based in our Viman Nagar office , with a primary focus on assessing student applications for UK universities , ensuring eligibility, and issuing offers in line with institutional guidelines. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in admissions (local or international), a strong understanding of international qualifications, and a passion for delivering a high-quality student experience. Those with managerial experience in admissions may be considered for a Senior Admissions Officer  position. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate student applications for UK universities with accuracy and in alignment with specific entry requirements. Assess international qualifications and academic transcripts to determine eligibility for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Issue conditional or unconditional offers based on university admissions criteria. Ensure all decisions are processed within agreed service timelines, maintaining high levels of accuracy and compliance. Liaise with university partners, internal teams, and students to resolve queries related to applications. Maintain meticulous records and documentation of all application reviews and offer decisions. Assist in training new team members and support continuous improvement within the admissions process. Provide guidance to students and counsellors on entry requirements, application timelines, and next steps. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changing university requirements and international education trends. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree  (required); a Master's or professional qualification is a plus. Minimum 2 years’ experience  in admissions (international student recruitment or university admissions preferred). Strong understanding of UK university admissions processes and international academic qualifications . Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. High level of attention to detail and the ability to process information accurately under pressure. Ability to manage and prioritise tasks in a deadline-driven environment. Strong organisational skills and proficiency in working with digital platforms (e.g. CRM systems, student databases). Team player with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset. Desirable (for Senior Officer Consideration): Minimum 4–5 years of experience  in admissions with demonstrated leadership responsibilities. Experience in managing a small team or overseeing regional admissions operations. Proven ability to streamline processes and maintain service-level consistency.
