Role : The Manager of Sales Systems Administration is responsible for the management and execution of software systems including . This role reports works closer with the company’s sales and marketing teams, and the leadership team, to provide real-time data, reporting, decision making, process improvement and training. Additionally, the Manager of Sales Systems Administration strives to maintain high data quality in each system and ensuring continuous improvement of each application. Primarily Roles & Responsibilities: The role of Manager of Sales System Administration is to enable sales leaders and front-line sales executives to take full advantage of Black Box’s CRM system. This includes education and adoption of new and current users, development of reports and dashboards to manage the business, development of new processes to keep pace with the business and discovery of new apps to enable efficiency in the sales team. Due to the complexity of Black Box’s industry and business, this role is essential to the success of the sales, engineering, operations and marketing teams. The primary objective for this role is to manage the systems that support the sales team, so as to ensure that its use is optimized to fully enable the company’s sales activities. Management of includes training, monthly reporting, maintaining data integrity, prioritization and execution of business requirements. This role also requires significant interactions with the IT team at Black Box to manage and monitor the integration with the company’s various sales, marketing and finance automation applications. The role is also required to maintain the overall quality, completeness and value of the data in the systems. This includes data from the MDM, third party data and information entered by the end user. Additionally, this role requires the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, interface with senior leadership, manage outside vendors, and guide direct reports. Management and execution of the company’s CRM strategy Design, develop and configure customized solutions using the full subscription, including custom objects and fields, validation rules, workflows, triggers, etc. Create and maintain fields, views, reports, dashboards, campaigns and other objects, fields, page layouts, custom objects, new applications when necessary. Support annual sales/revenue goals and initiatives with programs, analysis and reports. Maintain and improve CRM data quality and user adoption of Salesforce and other integrated tools. Understand and maintain various data/system integrated with and work cross-functionally to maintain and improve upon integrations with both internal and third-party systems. Administer Education and Knowledge base, to new and existing users, through classes, update meetings, user guides, and knowledge transfer documentation. Collaborate with various organization departments to develop business requirements and translate into features, functionality and processes. Maintain CRM data integrity through ongoing data governance, customer master data maintenance, data analysis, record de-duplication and other related tasks. Fluency in core CRM concepts with a strong analytical mindset; self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience customizing using Visualforce/Apex/Trigger code and willingness to learn new features and drive adoptions. Resolve platform and technical issues and respond to issues, change requests, and other needs through help desk and other channels. Remain current with updates, new technologies and best practices within the industry and develop best practices documentation. Education/Experience Requirements: Minimum of 4- 8 years’ experience Salesforce Systems Administrator. Bachelor’s degree in a related field is strongly preferred. Experience in report-building and presentation development utilizing and BI application for visualizations required. Experience in Tableau strongly preferred. Administrator certification required. Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Office applications required, including Excel (and be able to use formulas, pivots, charts effectively). Ability to quickly learn new analytic techniques and related tools. Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities paired with excellent communication skills and high attention to detail Strong Business Acumen – working understanding of sales, marketing, marketing automation systems. Ability to display strong self-initiative and support recommendations with sound thinking. Proven record of meeting/exceeding established goals. Ability to communicate with and present to all levels of the organization, including company executives, divisional leadership, sales professionals and administrative support team members.
