About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative QA Tester with hands-on experience in AI Functional Testing and a solid understanding of user interface and experience (UI/UX) workflows. This role will focus on validating AI-driven features while ensuring seamless, intuitive user journeys for our enterprise research platform. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with investment professionals to gather requirements, usage patterns, and pain points related to research workflows. • Work with engineers and designers to shape user journeys and translate complex AI outputs into intuitive, actionable UI elements. • Create and maintain wireframes , mockups, and low-fidelity prototypes using tools like Figma , Sketch , or Adobe XD. Translate business goals into clear UI specifications and acceptance criteria. • Test and validate UI functionality, ensuring alignment with end-user expectations and accessibility standards. Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback from MVP trials and demos. • Assist in integrating AI/LLM features (e.g., auto-generated summaries, semantic search, alerts) into the platform in a user-centric way. • Help define how confidence scores, citations, and AI outputs are visually represented and explained to promote trust and transparency. • Document UI behaviours, design decisions, user feedback, and component functionality for ongoing handoff to development. • Act as a liaison between non-technical users and technical teams to ensure requirements and expectations remain aligned. Required Skills and Qualifications 4–12 years of proven experience in QA Testing with a focus on functional testing for AI/ML, data-driven, or financial services applications. Mandatory experience with AI Functional Testing and proficiency in Figma , Sketch , or wireframing tools (any one). Hands-on knowledge of creating, reviewing, and validating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows. Familiarity with front-end concepts such as HTML, CSS, and responsive design. Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working with tools like Jira or Azure DevOps. Strong analytical skills to identify workflow gaps and propose improvements through QA and design best practices. Clear communication skills to act as an effective bridge between business users and technical teams. Experience testing data visualisation components or tools (e.g., Chart.js, D3.js, Tableau) is a plus. Prior exposure to validating how AI/LLM outputs (e.g., summaries, semantic search) are displayed to maximise user trust and engagement.
