Location: Pune (Work from Office) Experience: 10+ Years Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned SAP FICO (Financial Accounting & Controlling) Consultant with over 10 years of hands-on experience in delivering end-to-end SAP implementations, rollouts, and support projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading finance transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals, and providing deep functional expertise in both SAP FI and CO modules. Key Responsibilities: Lead SAP FICO module implementation, upgrades, and support across multiple geographies. Gather and analyze business requirements, perform gap-fit analysis, and design functional solutions. Configure SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, Taxation) and CO (Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders, Product Costing, COPA). Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, PP, HCM, PS) to ensure integrated business process design. Drive business process improvements and standardization across global finance operations. Manage stakeholder expectations, provide training and support to end-users. Coordinate with ABAP developers for custom developments and enhancements. Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, user manuals, and conduct UAT. Support month-end and year-end closing activities, reporting, and compliance initiatives. Act as SME (Subject Matter Expert) and provide strategic guidance on SAP S/4HANA migration or upgrades. Required Skills: 10+ years of experience in SAP FICO with at least 2–3 end-to-end implementations. Strong domain knowledge in Finance & Accounting processes (IFRS/GAAP, taxation, costing). Expertise in integration with other SAP modules. Hands-on configuration experience in both FI and CO submodules. Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance is highly preferred. Knowledge of Indian taxation (GST, TDS), global tax regulations, and localization. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to lead teams, mentor juniors, and drive project delivery independently. Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. CA/ICWA/MBA (Finance) preferred. SAP Certification in FICO/S/4HANA Finance is a plus.
