Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented RF Test Engineer to join our RF Characterization team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing RF and microwave test plans for components and devices. This role involves hands-on testing on a daily basis, troubleshooting, and working closely with design, validation, and production teams to ensure product quality and compliance with technical specifications. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute RF test procedures for products including RF transistors, power amplifiers, RFICs, and passive components. Operate RF/microwave test equipment such as load pull, VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, and oscilloscopes. Work with test fixtures and automation scripts to streamline testing processes. Extract and plot data and generate detailed test reports. Maintain lab infrastructure, calibrate equipment, and rigorously follow standard operating procedures. Required Qualifications: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics with a specialization in RF circuits and test methodologies. Solid understanding of RF and microwave theory (S-parameters, impedance matching, gain, linearity, etc.). Experience with RF test instruments: VNA, spectrum analyzer, signal generators, etc. Desired Qualifications: Experience with GaN/GaAs devices, RFIC/MMIC characterization, or phased array systems. Proficiency in scripting and test automation using Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, or similar tools. Strong analytical and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
