About the Role: We are looking for a technically sound and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Python Developer for AlgoFabric — our AI-powered financial news analysis platform . ( We’re looking for someone with strong Python skills , a basic understanding of machine learning and Generative AI concepts , and a deep interest in backend systems. The ideal candidate is someone who learns quickly, can contribute to core components, and gradually takes technical ownership of parts of the platform over the next 6 months. The position will start as an internship but is highly likely to convert into a full-time position. Refer to the link - Key Responsibilities: Write clean, efficient, and modular code in Python for various components of AlgoFabric. Collaborate with senior engineers on developing and maintaining backend services. Support data flows, processing pipelines, and basic integrations with APIs and storage. Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation. Understand the structure and workflow of the platform with a long-term goal of taking technical ownership of select modules. What We're Looking For: Strong command of Python — including data structures, scripting, and working with APIs. Solid debugging and problem-solving skills. A strong desire to learn and contribute to a production-grade AI product. Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams. Interest in financial markets, analytics, or AI is a plus. Interest in Mathematics and Statistics  Preferred Skills (Nice to Have): AWS services like Lambda, EC2, or S3 Docker or container-based deployment LLMs or interest in prompt engineering and agentic workflows Basic understanding of REST APIs or data pipelines Strong performance in your undergraduate mathematics classes
