Role: Artificial Intelligence Engineer Location: Bangalore About the role: Metaforms is building AI-first infrastructure for market research — and at the core of that vision lies reliable, high-performance AI agents. We’re hiring an AI Engineer to help design, build and refine next-gen LLM systems that are robust, controllable and production-ready. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who wants to move fast, work across the stack, and solve open-ended system challenges. You'll work alongside a small, elite team including the Founder/CTPO, pushing the boundaries of how AI can augment human workflows at scale. What you will own: Data Creation & Evaluation Build large-scale synthetic data pipelines to train and stress-test AI agents. Design domain-specific evaluation datasets to uncover failure modes in structured outputs and DSL-based responses. Automate data quality verification and maintenance of complex AI data systems. Model Response Monitoring Develop rubrics and scoring systems for nuanced LLM output evaluation. Create tools for monitoring, logging, and debugging model responses in production. Empower internal teams to iterate quickly on training data and prompt structures. System Experimentation & Improvement Research and implement strategies for long-context handling, prompt reliability and cascading error mitigation. Experiment with prompt engineering, few-shot techniques, retrieval pipelines and system design for agentic AI behavior. Drive design and implementation of production-grade LLM pipelines and APIs. Requirements: Familiar with LLMs, agents, prompt engineering, fine-tuning and evaluation frameworks. Experienced with experiment-driven development: testing, debugging and iterating on complex AI systems. A strong communicator who can turn ambiguity into clarity and lead deep technical explorations. You thrive in a fast-paced, founder-led team and take full ownership of your work. Bonus Points: Experience with structured output models, semantic parsing or internal DSLs. Built tooling for monitoring model bias, drift, performance or dataset management. Familiarity with LLM observability, agent reliability, verifiers or dynamic workflow orchestration. Why Metaforms ?
