This role requires a candidate with a proven track record in field collection management through agencies, strong vendor management skills, and the ability to drive agency performance. The ideal candidate will possess experience in handling collections in multiple geographies, exhibit proficiency in handling collection agencies in remote locations, and have a deep understanding of loan collection strategies. About the Role Agency Relationship Management: Collaborate with our collection agency vendor to establish and maintain a strong working relationship. Communicate regularly with agency partners to ensure alignment with collection strategies, targets, and expectations. Address agency-related concerns, issues, and escalations promptly and effectively. Ensure alignment between Varthana's collection strategies and the agency's on-ground practices. Collection Strategy and Performance: Develop and implement collection strategies in collaboration with agency partners to maximize loan recovery rates while maintaining a customer-centric approach. Monitor agency performance closely, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize collection strategies and tactics based on data analysis and industry best practices. Vendor Performance Management: Set clear performance goals and targets for collection agencies in accordance with company objectives. Regularly evaluate agency performance against set targets and take corrective actions as needed. Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to agency partners to drive continuous improvement. Multilocation Management: Oversee collection activities across multiple agency locations pan India, ensuring consistency in processes, strategies, and customer interactions. Develop processes to streamline and standardize collection practices across various locations. Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports and dashboards on collection agency performance, presenting insights to senior management. Utilize data-driven insights to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for enhancing collection efforts. Preferred Profile Bachelor's degree preferably in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in field collection management within a collection agency environment. Proven experience in managing collections in vernacular languages. Strong track record of successfully handling collection agencies across multiple locations. Demonstrated ability to drive agency performance and achieve collection targets. Prior experience in vendor management and collaboration. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in both vernacular and English. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools. Knowledge of the financial services industry and loan collection practices. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality of work.
