We supply top-quality feed for livestock using environmentally friendly and ethical means. The company has expanded its manufacturing factories to Baramati, Shrirampur, and Merta in Rajasthan. As a market leader in the cattle feed industry, Hindustan Feeds has a robust presence and is experiencing rapid growth in Maharashtra and surrounding regions. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources Director located in Satara. The Human Resources Director will be responsible for overseeing recruitment, compliance, industrial relations, training, employee engagement, and administrative operations (such as canteen, transport, security, etc.). Given the rural manufacturing setting, this person must balance strategic HR responsibilities with on-the-ground labor management and administrative efficiency. Must-Have Qualifications 1. Educational Background Bachelor’s degree in: Human Resource Management Business Administration Industrial Psychology Or related fields Postgraduate diploma or MBA in HR/IR/Personnel Management is strongly preferred 2. Experience 8–12 years of progressive HR experience , with minimum 4 years in a leadership role Prior experience in manufacturing , agri-inputs , FMCG , or factory-based business settings Hands-on experience managing plant HR , particularly in non-metro/rural industrial setups 3. Labour and Compliance Knowledge Deep knowledge of labour laws , PF/ESIC , Factory Act , Shops & Establishment Act , contract labor regulations , etc. Experience in handling audits , government inspections , and union or labor relations 4. Administrative Skills Capability to manage: Office admin Canteen Housekeeping Security Vehicle/transportation Guest house/staff quarters 5. People & Communication Skills Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills Fluency in Marathi , with working knowledge of Hindi and English Comfortable interacting with both plant workers and top management Preferred Qualifications These are valuable additions, especially if the company is growing or modernizing. 1. Advanced Education or Certifications MBA in HR or PGDM Certification in: Labour Law Compliance Industrial Relations POSH , ISO , or HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) frameworks 2. Digital Proficiency Familiarity with HRIS systems , payroll software , attendance/biometric systems , and Excel reporting 3. Experience in Change Management Experience in organization restructuring , policy development , or building HR systems from scratch 4. Employee Engagement & Training Focus Ability to implement employee development programs , conduct training needs analysis , and plan skill-building initiatives 5. Crisis Management & Sensitivity Experience in handling industrial disputes , worker unrest , or emergency protocols in a calm and legally compliant manner
