We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technology Leader to oversee and manage our Product Development team and be the Product Data Steward (IT). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT delivery, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive Product Development to successful completion through efficient use of technology. This role requires close collaboration with teams in Corporate HQ and stakeholders globally to ensure seamless integration and delivery of technical solutions. The candidate must be willing to work during US EST time zone. The Senior Director of Product Development is a key technology partner to Supply Chain Leadership - SVPs and VPs of Product Development and the global supply chain organization. This role will lead innovation, project management, systems development and implementation, and support of all technology that enables these areas. This leader will have excellent domain experience in these areas as well as a proven successful record of delivering business value and organizational transformation in a matrixed IT environment with reliance on onshore and offshore delivery partners. They will bring a wealth of experience in developing and delivering modern technology solutions, excellent vendor management skills, and have a proven track record of modernizing and transforming technology capabilities aligned to business process transformation. This position will report directly to Global Supply Chain Technology VP and will be a key member of the Global Technology Organization’s leadership team. This leader is a key contributor to the development and execution of the enterprise-wide IT strategy, while maintaining its alignment with the enterprise's business strategy and the delivery of capabilities required to achieve business success. Candidates could be required to travel up to 25% (once or twice a quarter) to corporate and other global facilities. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Management: Lead the Global Technology Organization (GTO) team that is responsible for delivering technology solutions for our Global Supply Chain organization. This team encompasses Portfolio Owners, Product Owners, Business Analysts and System Analysts that have both functional and technical knowledge in the area of Product Development. Lead and manage a team of technical resources located in Hyderabad, India, ensuring high performance, motivation, and professional development. development. Work with the CTO, Senior IT Leadership team, Enterprise Architecture and GSC Leadership Team to develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for Global Supply Chain that supports business strategies and priorities. Collaborate with the Hyderabad based MTIC Head, and other HR & operational teams locally to be aligned with overall MTIC policies, guidelines & operations. Responsible for being the overall authority on development and delivery of Global Supply Chain platforms. Ensure that all the Business Analysts and scrum masters are sufficiently trained and working toward the goals of the brands. Manage and grow the IT Business Analyst, scrum master teams and ensure all follow the BA best practices. Participate in the assessment of external and internal technology capabilities required to achieve desired competitive positioning. Provide functional and technical leadership and hands on day-to-day solution to agile teams in implementation of solutions. Accountable for managing the technical delivery of Global Supply Chain solutions including analysis, design, development, implementation, and Tier 3 production support which is heavy reliant on outsourced delivery partners. Project Deliverables: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Collaboration: Work closely with global teams, to align India center activities with overall business objectives and project goals. Resource Allocation: Build an effective organization comprised of global resources that can deliver, support and exploit transition to best in suite technologies for Global Supply Chain capabilities. Efficiently allocate and manage technical resources to meet project / operation demands and optimize productivity. Work with our PMO to develop and oversee the annual budget for Global Supply Chain /Product Development technologies. Accountable for budgets covering OPEX and CAPEX. Ensure that all Project/Delivery Managers working on your portfolios have the correct resources to deliver their plans and that escalations on resources are supported/facilitated. Effectively build strategic partnerships with sourcing suppliers to execute with excellence on technical solutions and leverage the partnerships to drive innovation and bring thought leadership Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of technical delivery. Communication: Facilitate effective communication between all global teams, ensuring transparency and alignment on project status, risks, and issues. Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve technical and operational challenges to ensure smooth project execution. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or requirements. Ensure the relationship between IT and Business teams is open, trusted and effective in understanding all perspectives and how best to work collaboratively Act as a trusted advisor while building and maintaining relationships with business executives to develop a clear understanding of business needs; innovate on and identify opportunities and educate the business where modern technology solutions can add value or achieve stated goals. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in Product Development or a similar role, with at least 10 years of experience managing offshore technical teams. Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, organization design and development. Proven experience in DTC and B2B Proven experience in Retail and/or CPG Experience working in a global organization with distributed teams. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software development, IT infrastructure, and project delivery methodologies. Experience with (Oracle Agile, PTC Windchill, Other), CAD systems, costing, Planning, ecommerce, B2B systems Multiple Implementations of PLM solutions and assessment and software and SI selection for implementations Experience with Data platform and analytical tools especially within Google Cloud Platform is preferred. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire technical teams, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills; able to work across business lines at senior levels to influence, instill confidence and effect change to achieve common goals and demonstrate the business value of IT. Ability to motivate people, instill accountability and achieve results. Ability to work well with all levels of the organization. Ability to make decisions and recommendations on complex issues and present to Sr. Management. Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a strategic people plan that ensures that the right people are in the right roles at the right time and that employees are highly engaged and satisfied. Ability to abstract complex business and technical concepts and summarize them for various stakeholder groups, including the ability to explain digital concepts and technologies to business leaders as well as business concepts to technologists; the ability to sell ideas and process internally at all levels. Preferred Qualifications: Proven experience or demonstrated capability in leading IT transformational initiatives in complex and dynamic environments. Certification in PLM Solutions, PMP. Knowledge and Certifications in ITIL, Agile and DevOps practices. Ability to actively participate in new technologies/innovations and demonstrate benefits to users. Global knowledge of Global Supply Chain concepts and best practices preferred in order to effectively lead complex programs and influence the business. Experience with IT budgeting and financial management for departments.
