We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Commercial Operations Executive to support the post-fixture operations of our owned fleet. The role involves close coordination with charterers, brokers, agents, and internal teams to ensure efficient and profitable voyage execution. Key Responsibilities: Handle post-fixture operations including voyage planning, laytime calculations, and cargo documentation. Liaise with charterers, agents, bunker suppliers, and shipmasters to coordinate voyage instructions. Monitor vessel performance and ensure compliance with charter party terms. Follow up on freight invoices, demurrage/despatch claims, and cost approvals. Maintain voyage records and prepare voyage profitability reports. Support the Commercial Manager in fixture execution and operational follow-ups. Coordinate port clearance requirements and ensure timely dispatch of relevant documents. Maintain close communication with shipboard staff to ensure voyage efficiency and issue resolution. Track market developments and assist in gathering commercial intelligence as needed. Candidate Profile: Graduate in Shipping, Maritime Studies, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial or post-fixture operations with a drybulk ship owner/operator. Sound understanding of shipping documentation, charter parties, and voyage execution processes. Strong coordination skills and ability to handle time-sensitive tasks under pressure. Familiarity with voyage management systems (e.g., IMOS) is an advantage. Proficient in MS Excel and general business communication tools.
