Designation: Manager / Assistant Manager (Inbound logistics) Location: Arekere, Bengaluru Experience: 8-15 Years Education qualification: Graduation / Post Graduation (Preferably in Logistics / SCM) Experience in the Apparel / Textile manufacturing industry is preferred. Roles & responsibilities RFQ Process:- Raising RFQ for the lanes & coordinating with transporters & follow up. Once it is finalized, get approval from the committee. Release the latest contracts to all process owners. Sourcing new transporters:- Sourcing new transporters frequently to get the best freights & include more transporters. Contract creation and releasing the addendums:- Releasing the final approved contracts and releasing addendums to the transporters and getting it back with signatures. Maintaining the master copy file for reference of auditors. Revision of existing Addendums & revisions:- Amending addendums in response to fuel rate fluctuations every month depending on the variations in the fuel prices (hikes or reductions), getting approval from committee & transporters on the contract and filing the the same for records. Forwarding the contracts to the auditors. Obtaining Signatures/Approvals & Follow-ups:- Following up with transporters and the committee to obtain signatures on addendums Vendor Code Creation:- Coordinating with respective in-charges and completing formalities for vendor code creation One-Time Transactions:- During any urgent requirements, negotiating with transporters and getting one time approval from transport committee. Transporter Management:- Addressing any transporter issues and maintaining a blacklist Monthly Fuel Rates revision:- Circulating the monthly average fuel rates & revising the contracts Monitoring the TMS transactions:- Follow up with factory stores team with respect to POD pending & troubleshooting in the module. To coordinate between factory & planning team along with Digital transformation team. Case to case trouble shooting:- Delays in deliveries of the consignments from transporters. Truck halting in factories due to multiple reasons. Consignments blocked at transporters warehouse. Shortage / interchange rolls received at stores from transporters. Claims & insurance claim raising:- To interact with insurance claims team & furnish relevant details to get the claims as per marine policy. Keep track of the claims raised & reimbursed. Billing & bill processing related topics:- Coordinating with transporters for ambiguity in the bills submitted. Also coordinate with stores and finance for any clarification.
