Job Description:- MISSION The DCS Change Management team is responsible to control and manage life cycle of all Changes. It is process for planning, coordinating and communicating changes to any element of the colt DCS operational environment. Colt DCS Change Management is based in India. The engineer(Analyst) will support the Change management process within the DCS Service Operations India. Working in alignment with the Global teams of DCS Operations and DCS Technology functions within Europe, Asia and India. The successful candidate will be responsible to manage standard request for Change to the DCS live infrastructure under the guidance of DCS Change Manager. OUTCOMES Manage Standard BAU (Business As Usual) Request For Change (RFC) to the live infrastructure Maintaining the accuracy of change request ensuring that data quality is as per the process standard. Circulate change documentation to a defined distribution of clients/ users where applicable. Participate in Change review meetings such as change advisory boards when requested Manage cancellation or rescheduling of a standard change in collaboration with Requester Perform regular housekeeping to ensure all standard change request are closed in a timely manner Provide support to the Change Manager for internal process quality checks Issue Weekend Change schedule to all stake holders Regular performance monitoring of the Change Management process ensuring adherence to contractual SLA/KPI/OLA’s are achieved Active participation in Change management meeting and note minutes Assist Service Operations Managers with Ticketing solution deployment for DCS Assist with team administration task Assist Service / Site Operations Managers with ad-hoc request Provide accurate reporting metrics for Service Operations processes Participate in process improvement Participate in User Acceptance Test as required post application deployment THE TEAM The successful applicant will report to the Manager DCS Change Management and will align with the Global teams of DCS Operations and DCS Technology in Europe, Asia and India. THE SKILLS / EXPERTISE THEY BRING Mandatory 1-2 year in Infrastructure Service operations Desirable experience from 3-5 year in Service Management environment supporting Change Management Ready to work within a team with full responsibility to manage Business as Usual Change request This includes ownership, coordinating and managing the issues on daily basis Orientation on how to handle queries related to Customer data management and other commercial/ technical issues Has inclination to understand Colt’s existing products and services Ready to work in shift as necessary to the business requirement Knowledge of MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) Has a basic knowledge of any ticketing tool (preferably Cherwell) Graduate (preferably in Engineering) from a reputed institute Fluent in verbal and written English. Any other European language add-on desirable Knowledge of ITIL V3/ V4 ® (Desirable)
