Production Support Engineer Experience- 5+ years We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Application Support Engineer to provide advanced support for enterprise applications, data workflows, and compliance-related systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SQL Server , C-Link , IBM DataStage , Managed File Transfer (MFT) , and SQL scripting , along with a foundational understanding of DBA tasks . Experience in AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and Sanctions systems is essential, as this role supports critical compliance applications and processes. Key Responsibilities: Provide L2/L3 support for business-critical applications, including those related to AML and Sanctions monitoring , ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance. Take ownership of supported applications, acting as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting, enhancements, and stakeholder communication. Support and maintain SQL Server environments, including query optimization and basic DBA tasks such as backups and user access. Monitor and troubleshoot C-Link integrations and data flows. Develop, maintain, and support ETL processes using IBM DataStage . Manage and support Managed File Transfer (MFT) systems to ensure secure and reliable data exchange. Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting, analysis, and data validation. Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure AML and Sanctions systems meet regulatory requirements. Document support procedures, known issues, and configuration details for knowledge sharing and audit readiness. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in application support or related technical roles. Strong experience with: SQL Server and SQL scripting C-Link (data integration and connectivity) IBM DataStage (ETL development and support) Managed File Transfer (MFT) tools and protocols AML and Sanctions systems and workflows Basic understanding of DBA tasks such as database backups, user management, and performance monitoring. Familiarity with incident management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation. Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS). Understanding of ITIL practices and change management. Certification in SQL Server, DataStage, or AML compliance tools is a plus.
