We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Associate Gap Content & Curriculum Support Specialist with subject matter expertise in Earth Science (Geology, Oceanography, Meteorology, and Climatology). In this role, you will apply your instructional design skills and content knowledge to develop high-quality instructional materials for grades 6–12, while also supporting curriculum-related client issues and internal development processes. Key Responsibilities: Develop standards-aligned instructional and assessment content (print and digital) for Earth Science. Analyze curriculum standards to produce blueprints, scope & sequence documents, and planning guides. Write and revise lessons, assignments, activities, and assessment items. Apply consistent instructional design practices across all deliverables. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including vendors and contractors, to ensure smooth content development. Update and maintain development documentation and guidelines. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide support for curriculum-related issues. Offer second-tier client support by resolving content bugs and addressing curriculum queries. Manage multiple priorities while meeting strict deadlines. Contribute to projects outside your primary content area as needed. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Earth Science or a closely related field (Geology, Oceanography, Meteorology, or Climatology) — mandatory Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching, instructional design, or curriculum development — required Proven expertise in designing content for grades 6–12. Experience creating assessment items and instructional materials. Strong writing, proofreading, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and content development tools.
