Job Opening: Japanese Language Teacher Remote (Online) | 4–5 hours/week | 8-Month Contractual About Us: Japan With Adi (JWA) is India’s leading educational platform focused on Japanese scholarships, MEXT preparation, and study-in-Japan mentorship. Through our flagship program FS27 , we aim to prepare highly motivated students for successful admission to Japanese universities with strong language foundations and cultural readiness. Role Overview: We are seeking a professional and experienced Japanese Language Teacher to train FS27 students from basic JLPT N5 level to N4/N3 proficiency over the course of 8 months. The teaching will be conducted entirely online , with weekly sessions designed to equip students with strong command of grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening, and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Conduct structured, engaging online Japanese language classes (4–5 hours/week) Develop lesson plans, assessments, and exercises tailored for JLPT N5–N3 levels Guide and mentor students toward JLPT success (Dec 2025 & July 2026 exams) Provide regular progress feedback and student evaluations Create supplementary material (PDFs, quizzes, kanji worksheets, etc.) Coordinate with the FS27 academic team for scheduling and content alignment Foster an interactive and motivating learning environment Occasionally assist with cultural training or Q&A sessions if needed Requirements: JLPT N2 or N1 Certification (mandatory) Minimum 2 years of teaching experience (online or offline) Fluency in English and Hindi for bilingual classroom management Strong understanding of JLPT syllabus, exam patterns, and prep techniques Ability to teach from absolute beginner (N5) level to N4/N3 Professional attitude, punctuality, and digital classroom etiquette Ability to work independently and manage a diverse classroom remotely Access to a stable internet connection and necessary tech setup (laptop, webcam, mic) Preferred: Experience teaching large student batches or structured programs Familiarity with Indian learner needs and common challenges Knowledge of digital teaching tools like Zoom, Google Meet, Canva, Google Docs Cultural teaching experience or background in Japan-related education What We Offer: Flexible working hours A supportive and growing academic ecosystem Competitive compensation (discussed during interview) Opportunity to be part of a mission-driven program impacting hundreds of students Letter of recommendation/experience from JWA after contract completion How to Apply: Please send your CV + JLPT Certificate(s) and a brief teaching demo video (if available) to:
