Company Description We suggest you enter details here. Role Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Ticketing Agent to join our travel agency team. In this role, you will be responsible for booking and issuing tickets for domestic and international travel, managing reservations, handling travel documents, and providing exceptional support to clients. You will work closely with other travel consultants to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction Key Responsibilities Issue, reissue, and refund air tickets using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo. Manage and confirm reservations for flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel-related services. Ensure accuracy in ticket fares, taxes, and routing following airline and industry rules. Provide clients with up-to-date travel information, including visa requirements, baggage allowances, and itinerary changes. Handle changes, cancellations, and re-bookings efficiently while minimising client inconvenience. Coordinate with airlines and suppliers for special requests or ticketing issues. Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and client interactions. Support the sales team with pricing, itinerary planning, and ticketing guidance. Stay informed on industry trends, promotions, and airline policies. Qualifications Proven experience in ticketing and reservation handling within a travel agency or airline environment. Proficiency with at least one major GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, or similar. Strong knowledge of airline fare structures, ticketing rules, and IATA regulations. Excellent attention to detail and time management skill. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks. High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certification or travel/tourism degree preferred. Preferred Multilingual skills.
