Role Description: Account Executive We are looking for a highly responsible, detail-driven, and self-motivated Account Executive to oversee and manage the complete accounting and compliance function of our organization. This role involves handling core bookkeeping, GST and income tax returns, e-commerce settlements, inventory reconciliation, and administrative paperwork. The ideal candidate will also play a key role in financial planning and operational streamlining to support the company’s long-term growth. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Bookkeeping: Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts using Tally. Prepare journal entries, manage ledgers, and ensure timely closing of books. E-commerce Transactions: Reconcile settlement reports from platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Jiomart and Meesho. Track fee deductions, claim issues, returns, and payment cycles; coordinate with marketplaces as required. Inventory Matching & Controls: Cross-verify digital and physical inventory. Update stock movement records, investigate discrepancies, and ensure alignment with sales and purchase data. GST & Tax Compliance: Prepare and file monthly/annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B). Handle TDS deductions, payments, and returns; ensure accurate reconciliation with Form 26AS. Income Tax & ITR Filings: Assist in preparing financial data for company and director-level income tax returns. Work in coordination with the chartered accountant for compliance and planning. Documentation & Office Administration: Manage all business-related paperwork including registrations, renewals, banking compliance, vendor agreements, and internal approvals. Financial Planning & Reporting: Support management with budgeting, cost analysis, and forecasting. Contribute to strategy by evaluating financial trends and risks. Process Optimization: Continuously identify areas of improvement in financial systems, inventory linkage, reporting formats, and statutory processes. Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field 3–5 years of hands-on experience in accounting and finance roles Solid knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian tax compliance norms Proficiency in accounting software (Tally) and Microsoft Excel Familiarity with e-commerce financial operations and settlement reports Preferred Attributes Experience managing accounts related to online marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.) Understanding of inventory management and reconciliation processes Ability to coordinate with CAs, consultants, auditors, and internal teams Strong organizational, documentation, and multitasking skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
