Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced music production professional with teaching expertise in Ableton Live to join our faculty team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of music theory, sound design, mixing, and mastering. They will be fluent in both English and Hindi and possess a proven ability to teach and mentor students in a group setting. Key Responsibilities: • Teach Group Classes: Conduct engaging and informative group classes on Ableton Live, music theory, sound design, mixing, and mastering. • Review Assignments: Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on student assignments, helping them to improve their skills and understanding. • Facilitate Growth: Encourage and support students in their creative and technical development, fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment. • Mentor Students: Offer guidance and mentorship to students, helping them to achieve their individual goals and prepare for careers in the music industry. • Collaborate: Work with other faculty members to develop and refine the curriculum, ensuring it meets the highest standards of education and industry relevance. Qualifications: • Expertise in Ableton Live: At least 3 years of professional experience in music production using Ableton Live. • Music Theory Knowledge: Strong foundation in music theory and its practical application in music production. • Sound Design Skills: Demonstrated excellence in sound design, with a portfolio showcasing innovative and high-quality work. • Mixing and Mastering: Thorough knowledge of mixing and mastering techniques and tools, ensuring industry-standard quality. • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Hindi, with excellent communication skills. • Teaching Experience: Experience in teaching or mentoring of minimum 2 years, with a passion for helping others learn and grow. • Collaboration: Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive and collaborative faculty environment.
