The ideal candidate must be well-versed in billing, quantity surveying, and measurement methods as per IS codes and project specifications.⸻Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and verify client and subcontractor bills (RA bills, final bills, etc.) for civil and interior work. • Take precise site measurements (carpet area, built-up, structural, and finished works). • Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) based on drawings and site conditions. • Work with AutoCAD and Excel to prepare quantity sheets, abstract sheets, and billing formats. • Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and project managers for work progress updates. • Reconcile quantities with contractors and maintain proper billing documentation. • Read and interpret architectural, structural, and interior drawings. • Prepare material consumption reports and verify subcontractor claims. • Ensure billing as per contractual terms, specifications, and drawings. • Conduct site visits to verify work done before billing. • Support estimation and tendering teams with quantity take-offs.⸻Required Skills & Qualifications: • Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering. • 1–3 years of relevant experience in interior and civil billing. • Strong knowledge of IS 1200 measurement methods and standard practices. • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity surveying tools. • Knowledge of interior finishing materials and construction methods. • Ability to read GFC (Good For Construction) drawings. • Good communication and coordination skills.⸻Preferred Qualifications: • Prior experience in commercial, residential, or retail interior fit-out projects. • Knowledge of ERP systems or billing software (e.g., Tally, SAP, BuildSmart, etc.). • Understanding of contract terms and client billing cycles.
