About the Role: We’re looking for a passionate and creator-first Business Development Manager to drive new partnerships for our Creator division. Based in Mumbai, this role is focused on discovering and onboarding talented YouTube creators & content owners, helping them grow and monetize their content through Divo’s robust digital ecosystem. You’ll be the face of Divo to creators—helping them understand platform monetization, content strategy opportunities, and connecting them with brand and distribution services. Key Responsibilities: Creator Discovery & Relationship Building Identify promising creators, influencers, and content owners in the Mumbai region with potential for growth via Divo’s services. Stay tapped into trends, communities, and rising digital talent across genres and formats (vlogs, entertainment, short-form, etc.). Pitching Divo’s Value to Creators Communicate Divo’s content distribution, monetization, and brand integration strengths to creators in a way that aligns with their aspirations. Customize pitches to creator needs—whether they’re looking to grow subscribers, maximize revenue, or enter new content formats. Creator Onboarding & Partnership Execution Onboard creators under Divo’s YouTube and digital distribution network. Ensure expectations are aligned—from revenue sharing to content ownership and brand opportunities. Guide them through onboarding paperwork, metadata setup, CMS integration, and platform best practices. Cross-Team Collaboration Work with internal content ops, legal, and brand teams to ensure smooth handover post-onboarding. Market Intelligence & Reporting Monitor competitor activity, emerging platform trends, and new monetization models. Provide actionable insights to improve Divo’s offerings and identify untapped niches in the creator space. Ideal Candidate Profile: 4–6 years of experience in digital content acquisition, creator partnerships, or business development in the digital/creator ecosystem. Demonstrated success in onboarding and managing YouTube creators or influencers. Strong network within Mumbai’s creator, influencer, and digital content community. Excellent communication, pitching, and relationship management skills. Passionate about helping creators thrive and adaptable to the fast-paced nature of the creator economy. Bonus Skills: Prior experience working with MCNs, creator tech tools/platforms, or digital publishers. Understanding of content rights, platform policies, and creator monetization mechanisms.
