Company DescriptionWe suggest you enter details here.Job Overview:As a Furnishing Designer at Furnishing Studio, you will be responsible for creating innovative designs for our home furnishing products, including textiles, upholstery, curtains, blinds and decorative accessories. You will work closely with our product development and merchandising teams to ensure that our products are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Key Responsibilities:Key Responsibilities:Design and Development: - Create original designs for soft furnishings such as cushions, curtains, bed linens, and upholstery fabrics.Develop sketches, patterns, and CAD designs to communicate ideas and specifications.Collaborate with the product development team to translate design concepts into tangible products.Present design concepts and prototypes to Management for feedback and approval.Research and Trends:Conduct market research to stay informed on the latest trends in home decor and textiles.Material Selection and Sourcing:Select appropriate fabrics, colors, and patterns that align with the brand’s aesthetic and product requirements.Search for suppliers to source high-quality materials and accessories.Technical Specifications:Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for each design.Collaborate with pattern makers, sample makers, and production teams to ensure accuracy and quality.Quality Control:Oversee the fitting and alteration process to ensure that the final product meets design and quality standards.Address and resolve any design-related production issues.Experience:1-2 years of experience in fashion or textile design, preferably in the home furnishings industry.Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work and creative skills.QualificationsExpertise in Textile Prints and TextilesExperience with EmbroiderySkills in Graphic Design and creating fabric-related graphicsStrong creativity and attention to detailExcellent time-management and organizational skillsAbility to work collaboratively with production teamsBachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field is preferredProficiency in design software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD toolsPrior experience in the textile or fashion industry is a plus
