Position Summary: Engineer- Tester - Full stack Introduction: Within ArcelorMittal Europe - Flat Products CIO, the department “Digital & IT CMO” (D&IT CMO) is an IT organization with proximity with Flat commercial business, which is responsible for the implementation of Business Processes and the interface management between operational Business stakeholders and IT providers. D&IT CMO main stakeholders are the Business owners of the different CMO processes, the end users (Sales Agencies & Order Management Platforms), Supply Chain, Industrial Clusters, and mills within the Flat Europe scope. The main Missions of our Department are: Steer / Support Legacy Information Systems (Performance, user support, Budget). Drive the Evolution of Legacy Information Systems (Adapt to New business needs, deploy, optimize): Concentrate Business processes & systems Expertise. Support Innovation & transformation. What does the job entail? As a Tester in our Customer Portal Domain, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of cutting-edge applications. Your responsibilities will include validating business processes and services that span a broad range of commercial functionalities—from online offer and order management to claims tracking, non-prime sales, and more. You'll also ensure the applications are user-friendly, responsive, and meet usability standards. To support this mission, we are looking to strengthen our team with a Tester who will design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans. The ideal candidate brings solid experience in testing both APIs and user interfaces and thrives in cross-functional collaboration with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, QA and operations teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design and execute test plans to validate enhancements to existing Information Systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements, the IS/IT Strategic Plan, and IT standards. Contribute to overall application quality through thorough analysis and testing. Coordinate with IT architecture experts to ensure consistency and compliance. Develop, document, and maintain manual or automated test cases and testing strategies. Who are we looking for? We are seeking a candidate with a strong technical background and substantial experience as a Tester or Quality Assurance Engineer, particularly in working with multi-component applications in an Agile environment. You should be capable of challenging the quality of architectural and technical solutions and participating in the description of the bug / problem when necessary. Key Competencies: Strong understanding of processes and IT systems. Must have good understanding of Full Stack and Manual Testing, Automation Extensive experience in testing frontend applications, particularly with Angular (including mobile applications). Proficiency in testing Java applications. Good experience with SQL (preferably MS SQL server). Strong understanding and experience with secured REST API testing. Extensive experience with automated testing in the mentioned languages. Experience working in an Agile environment and methodology. Solid knowledge and experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps is a plus). Experience in maintaining, developing, and deploying production-grade software. Proficiency with API documentation tools and the OpenAPI specification. Team player with a stakeholder-oriented approach, capable of understanding and adapting to a complex and changing environment. Relevant experience in a similar role. Fluent in English.
