Job Title: Conversational Designer Location: Hyderabad Job Type: Full-Time Experience Level: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Conversational Designer About the Role We are looking for a Conversational Designer to join our team and shape intuitive, human-like experiences across our Conversational AI platforms (chatbots, voice bots, and virtual assistants). You'll work closely with product managers, developers, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts to create engaging, on-brand dialogue flows that help users accomplish their goals with ease. This role involves regular interaction with clients based in the UK and USA , as well as collaboration with our internal operations and development teams . Comfort and confidence in engaging with global stakeholders is essential. You will also be responsible for the continuous fine-tuning of bot experiences by leveraging bot analytics, performance data, and user feedback to improve conversation flow, coverage, and effectiveness over time. Responsibilities Design end-to-end conversation flows, use cases, and intents for chatbots and voice assistants Write and optimize prompts, responses, fallbacks, and disambiguation paths with natural, empathetic, and context-aware language Collaborate with NLP teams to ensure accurate training data and utterance coverage Partner with business stakeholders, subject matter experts and product teams to map customer journeys and identify automation opportunities Use tools like Dialogflow, Voiceflow, Rasa, or LivePerson or similar to build and test conversational experiences Maintain tone, personality, and consistency of the virtual assistant across use cases and channel Create conversation design documentation including flows, sample dialogues, and design rationale Communicate design concepts and rationale clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including clients Experience 2+ years of experience in conversational design or journey design for AI-powered bots Strong understanding of conversation design principles, user intent modeling, and dialogue structuring Experience with NLP platforms like LivePerson, Yellow.AI, Kore.AI, Dialogflow, IBM Watson, Amazon Lex, or similar Familiarity with chatbot metrics and optimization techniques (e.g., drop-off rates, containment, NLU confidence) Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex workflows Strong empathy and ability to write natural, friendly, and brand-aligned copy Nice to have: experience designing for voice assistants (e.g., Alexa, Google Assistant) Nice to have: Background in linguistics, cognitive science, UX design, or similar Those who are interested please reach out to Barkha Verma at or apply on this Job post.
