The ideal candidate should have strong linguistic skills, attention to detail, and the ability to understand and convey technical or business-related content.Key Responsibilities:Translate documents, emails, reports, presentations, and other content from Japanese to English and English to JapanesePerform real-time or scheduled interpretation during meetings, calls, and video conferencesMaintain consistency of terminology and style across translated contentCollaborate with project teams to understand context and deliver accurate translationsProofread and edit translated materials to ensure accuracy and grammatical correctnessMaintain translation memory, glossaries, and language databasesWork closely with cross-functional teams including technical, HR, legal, and business stakeholdersRequired Skills & Qualifications:Proficiency in both Japanese and English (spoken and written)JLPT N2 or N1 certification preferredBachelor’s degree in Japanese language, Translation, Linguistics, or a related field2+ years of professional translation and/or interpretation experienceStrong understanding of business or technical terminology (based on domain)Experience with translation tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ) is a plusExcellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Prior experience working in IT, manufacturing, legal, finance, or other technical domainsWHAT’S ON OFFERYou will be remunerated with an excellent base salary and entitled to attractive company benefits.
