With global call center delivery capabilities, our multi-shore, multi-language programs offer safe, secure infrastructure, value-based pricing, skills-based resources and exceptional customer service - all backed by TELUS, our multi-billion dollar telecommunications parent.Description and Requirements:Required Experience: 9+ YearsDevelopment Responsibilities:Design and develop complex SQL queries, functions, procedures, triggers, and viewsDevelop and optimize stored procedures and PL/pgSQL functions for application and data processing needsAssist application development teams in writing efficient and scalable database queriesAnalyze query performance and provide recommendations for improvementShould have experience working on Linux(ubuntu) systemProficient in communicating and writing in EnglishAdministration Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain PostgreSQL database servers in dev/test/prod environments.Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, patching, and monitoring of PostgreSQL servers.Manage backups, restores, and disaster recovery plans using tools like pg_dump, pgBackRest, or Barman.Implement and monitor replication, high availability, and failover strategies (e.g. streaming replication, Patroni, etc.).Ensure database security and user access controls.Monitor database performance and proactively identify issues before they affect operations.Equal Opportunity Employer:At TELUS Digital, we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
