Job Summary:Senior Lead Financial Analyst is responsible for leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities to support strategic decision-making. This role involves deep financial modeling, variance analysis, and collaboration across departments to provide actionable insights that drive business performance.At Colt DCS we are changing the perception of our business and industry sector. We are looking at:Key Responsibilities:Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Lead annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes.Build and maintain complex financial models to evaluate business scenarios like MBR (monthly board reporting, cashflow analysis & key site reporting)Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports with variance and trend analysis.Strategic Business SupportPartner with department heads to evaluate financial statements which helps to take operational decisions.Analyze business performance and provide strategic commentaries.Report key performance indicators (KPIs) and with relevant commentaries.Reporting & PresentationsDevelop executive-level dashboards and presentations for senior leadership and board meetings.Automate and improve reporting tools and templates using Excel, SAP BPC, or similar platforms.Liaise with JP Finance team to support a range of statutory and ad-hoc reporting requirements including but not limited to tax, audit, balance sheet, JV related tasks.Cost & Profitability AnalysisConduct product/site line profitability analysis with respect to each site.Support ROI calculations for major investments.Financial Systems & Process ImprovementWork closely with accounting to ensure data integrity and suggest changes wherever required.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance FP&A efficiency.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field with (Master’s or MBA preferred).CA, CFA, or equivalent certification is a plus.12+ years of FP&A experience or equivalent tenure from related positions in highly dynamic finance roles (Global experience preferred).Deep experience with deriving insights from analysis, formulating those insights into concise story lines and delivering presentations to senior executives to influence decision making.Ability to work independently on onsite/offsite transition with collaborating cross-functionallyBe a thought partner to senior business leaders with a focus on driving change and providing financial leadership as we execute our investment strategiesLead teams to design, continuously improve, and implement new financial and operational processes to ensure we meet our financial commitmentsCollaborate cross-functionally on strategic initiatives with senior business leaders and finance teams to deliver on critical business outcomesResponsible for end-to-end budget management for key initiatives (including budget analysis, distilling insights into concise story lines and delivering executive presentations to influence decision making)Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, lookups); experience with ERP and Reporting tools (SAP BPC, Oracle, Hyperion, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)Excellent communication, interpersonal and cross-function relationship building skills.Preferred Attributes:Business acumen: To build strong business acumen with strategic thinking and process experiencesAgility: Notices gaps or inefficiencies within own work area & raises ideas for improvement.
