Job Title

Purpose of the RoleThe timely production of high-quality 3D CAD Inventor models and technical drawings which support the needs of the business. To assist with the running of the drawing office in the UK remotely in the absence of the Drawing Office Lead. To provide guidance to all drawing office junior staff and ensure that best practices are being implemented. Roles and Responsibilities·      Production of 3D models which accurately reflect product properties and functional requirements.·      Generation of high-quality technical drawings to support all aspects of the business.·      Aid various departments in supporting business needs.·      Checking of models/drawings produced by other drawing office members.·      Ensure that all produced models and drawings meet the relevant industry standards.·      Delivery of models and drawings in-line with agreed timescales/schedules.·      To run the drawing office in the absence of the Drawing Office Lead.·      Ensure that best practices are employed and promoted.·      Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior members of the drawing office.·      Ensure that all relevant departmental processes and procedures are adhered to.·      Provide regular updates on progress, workload, and resourcing.·      Ensure that all drawing office systems/resources are being utilised appropriately.Good written and verbal communication skills in EnglishRemotely work with UK based and international team membersExperiance and Skills:Min 5 plus years of draughting experiance in AutoCAD Inventor in Mechanical or Structural engineering domain.
