Exposure to Generative AI technologies, especially Azure OpenAI, is a strong advantage. This role involves building scalable backend systems, integrating AI capabilities, and working with unstructured data formats like PDFs and Word documentsKey ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop robust backend systems using Python and FastAPIBuild and deploy RESTful APIs to support AI-driven applicationsImplement end-to-end system solutions, including architecture, development, testing, and deploymentIntegrate Azure OpenAI models and embeddings into enterprise applications (RAG, prompt engineering)Process and transform unstructured/semi-structured content (PDFs, DOCs, JSON) into structured formatsCollaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver scalable solutionsEnsure security, performance, and reusability of backend componentsCommunicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersQualifications6–12 years of backend development experience with PythonStrong expertise in FastAPI, API design, and integrationExperience with Azure OpenAI, embeddings, and prompt engineeringFamiliarity with semantic search and handling unstructured dataProven track record of end-to-end system implementation and deploymentExcellent communication and client-facing skillsNice to HaveExposure to GraphRAG, Agentic AI, or similar advanced Gen AI architecturesExperience with LangChain or other orchestration frameworksBackground in document-heavy domains like legal, finance, or complianceKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud deployments (Azure preferred)
