Job Description

Job DescriptionLocation: Remote (Southeast Asia preferred)Reports to: Director of Development, SingaporeLanguage: English (professional fluency required)Note: We are not able to offer visa sponsorship or relocation. Bridge the Gap Between Language and Layout We’re looking for someone who can help convert natural language into editable geometry—someone who understands how spatial tools, logic, and AI come together to generate workplace design outputs. This role focuses on transforming text prompts into structured layout data, and connecting that data to tools like SketchUp, Revit, or other geometry platforms. You’ll work closely with design teams, engineers, and tool builders to turn structured briefs into floorplans and components. This is not about generating images—it’s about scripting logic that produces editable layouts and schematic models that others can refine, develop, and build from. What You’ll Work On Translating prompts into structured spatial logic using JSON, adjacency rules, or layout specifications Collaborating with Ruby, Python, or Grasshopper scripters to convert structured data into geometry Working with real floorplates, stacking logic, and furniture/component libraries Supporting the development of 2D and 3D outputs that align with workplace planning standards Iterating closely with strategy, design, and engineering teams to refine and improve workflows What You Bring Understanding of how geometry is structured and edited within platforms like SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, or Grasshopper Familiarity with scripting languages (such as Ruby for SketchUp, Python for middle-layer translation, or visual scripting tools) An ability to work from abstract briefs and turn them into spatial logic Comfort working across JSON-based schemas, structured logic, and component placement Interest in how AI is changing the future of workplace design and delivery Technologies You May Use Ruby (for SketchUp), Python (for translation layers) Revit API, Grasshopper, Rhino scripts JSON, YAML, IFC, BCF, SKP, RVT Trimble Connect or similar 3D collaboration tools Generative model output via GPT-style tools (briefs and components) Why This Role MattersThis is a foundational role for connecting generative AI with geometry. You’ll be helping us build pipelines that transform early ideas into tangible plans—providing design teams with a head start, and enabling fast, intelligent iteration. If you think spatially, script modularly, and enjoy turning concepts into editable geometry, we’d love to work with you.
