This role focuses on post-hypercare support, optimization, and enhancement of SAP Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) capabilities. You will play a critical role in aligning SAP solutions with business goals and improving planning efficiency across global manufacturing operations.Technical Key Responsibilities1. Leadership & StrategyLead SAP PP/DS initiatives supporting manufacturing and supply chain teamsCollaborate across functional teams to align PP/DS strategy with overall business objectivesEnsure seamless integration of PP/DS with other SAP modules and business processes2. Continuous ImprovementAnalyze existing PP/DS configurations and recommend enhancements to boost system performanceStay current with SAP advancements and leverage new PP/DS features to drive valueLead system improvement efforts based on business feedback and evolving needs3. Operational SupportProvide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution of SAP PP/DS issuesMaintain system stability, performance, and data integrity across the SAP landscape post-hypercareWork closely with users to monitor performance and ensure optimal utilization4. Training & EnablementCreate training content and system documentation to support end-user adoptionLead workshops and training sessions to increase user proficiency and confidence in PP/DS tools5. Cross-functional CollaborationPartner with IT, business stakeholders, and consultants to ensure successful project executionAct as a subject matter expert, providing insights to senior leadership on production planning optimizationIdeal Candidate Profile5+ years of experience with SAP PP/DS, including post-hypercare optimization and supportStrong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain logisticsProven experience in SAP PP/DS project leadership and continuous improvement initiativesExpertise in SAP integration points (e.g., MM, SD, APO, or S/4HANA)Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting skills, and project ownership mindsetExcellent communication skills to interface with business users and IT teamsSAP certification in Production Planning or PP/DS (preferred but not mandatory)
