The ideal candidate will help design and build mobile-friendly widgets, integrate tools likeDocuSignandOpenAI , and support conversational workflows within ServiceNow.Technical Key Responsibilities1. Custom Widget Development (Employee Center) Design and buildcustom widgetswithin theEmployee Center(not classic Service Portal) Write clean, efficientJavaScript, HTML, and CSSusing the ServiceNow Widget Framework Debug widget logic, fix rendering issues, and implementGlideAjaxor server-side calls as needed 2. API Integration – DocuSign Connect ServiceNow to theDocuSign developer sandboxusing API key or OAuth Build logic to authenticate, call APIs, parseJSON responses , and render envelope data inside widgets 3. Responsive UI Design Ensure widgets aremobile-responsive , functioning correctly acrossphones and tablets UseChrome DevToolsor native tools to troubleshoot and validate UI across breakpoints Support demo preparation with clear examples of mobile behavior 4. Chat Widget to Ticket Workflow ConfigureConnect ChatorVirtual Agentin the Employee Center to trigger ticket creation LeverageRecord Producers ,scripts , orcustom buttonsto complete workflows 5. AI Assistant (MyGPT) Integration Build an inlinechat widgetto process user inputs and interact with internalAI toolslike OpenAI or DeepSeek Manage request/response flow, handle token limitations, and ensure intuitive UXIdeal Candidate Profile 5+ years of experience inServiceNow development , with focus onEmployee Centerandcustom widget scripting Strong skills inJavaScript, HTML, CSS , andServiceNow’s Widget Framework Practical experience integratingREST APIs , especially with tools likeDocuSign Understanding ofresponsive design principlesand cross-device testing Experience withVirtual Agent Designer ,Connect Chat , or chat-based UI flows Bonus: Familiarity with embedding AI chat tools or conversational UI elements in ServiceNow
