Designation: Data AnalystThe Data Analyst role is one of the most crucial roles in any organisation, and so it is in Gameskraft. This role offers taking initiative, dealing with challenging problems, building data science models, finding insights from existing data and presenting it through the power of data visualisation.This role is in the Fairplay (FPV) team, which leads the development and implementation of effective fraud detection and prevention strategies to mitigate losses while ensuring an appropriate balance between risk and customer experience.What you will do: ● You’ll work with large, complex data sets to solve high-impact business problems, which will have a direct impact on the growth of the company. ● Solving these problems will involve data mining, experimentation, statistical analysis, and related techniques, and machine learning using tools like SQL, Python, Tableau, Excel etc. ● You’ll be involved in multiple cycles of data analysis – forming an initial hypothesis, extracting, analysing, dissecting that data as per the hypothesis, presenting the insights in a crisp actionable manner, and then keep reiterating the whole process till you reach the conclusion ● Your role would require building data science models using the latest methodologies ● You’ll also be responsible for fixing data issues in coordination with data engineering team and conducting root cause analysis. ● You’ll work with multiple stakeholders from product, operations, and CX teamsWhat you will bring: Well, apart from a few cookies every day, it’d be great if you came with these ● Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Economics or Mathematics or Statistics or related discipline ● 1-2 yrs. Experience in data analytics or data sciences, preferably for a product-oriented company ● Candidate needs to exhibit structured thinking and strong analytical skills ● Hands-on experience on data manipulation tools like SQL, R, Python, Excel, etc. ● Exposure to visualisation tools like Tableau, Power BI, etc
